Correctly tapered ramrod sports the right shape rod tip as found on originals. The tip is pinned. Also notice the beautiful octagonal shaping of the tapered thimbles, the correct design, typical of early French pistols, and how well the inletting is done. These pistols are correctly shaped to the finely swamped and flared barrels, following closely the delicate contour. Beautiful workmanship!
