29820 - Becky Flintlock by Pete Allan
This flintlock was designed by Pete Allan and named for his daughter Becky to fill a need for a small flint and percussion lock for both pistols and smaller rifles. It resembles American made locks from the late 1770’s. Becky locks have a fly, but no stirrup, and no roller on the frizzen. It does have a cam action similar to the English style where the tumbler forces the hammer to increase in speed as it falls. This lock is assembled by R.E. Davis Co. with Allan parts. Measures 4-1/4” x 13/16.”

29940 - English Twigg Flintlock By R.E. Davis Co
Styled after the work of master English gunsmith John Twigg, this lock is ideal for finer late 18th century English rifles. Considered a high quality lock of its time, it could occasionally be seen on American longrifles and fowlers from 1780 to the 1810 era. Much thought went into producing this lock, with a stirrup on the mainspring and tumbler, a roller bearing on the frizzen and bearing surfaces on the tumbler and sear to reduce drag and friction. Excellent quality lock. Plate Dimensions: 5-5/8 long x 1-1/16” high. Perfect size for B and C swamped barrels. Most likely one of their very best locks!
